I have found it! The quote that explains why I call myself an actor and not an actress. For so long, I've called myself an actor and have taken the heat from many people who have some kind of nerve to say the following:

"Don't you mean actress?" (I wouldn't have said actor if I had meant actress)

"Why actor? Is that some kind of dyke feminist thing?" (wtf??)

etc.

Well, here it is kids:

"I'm an actor. An actress is someone who wears feather boas."
